Grief

It does not have much to do with skincare, neither is it an interesting mindful topic to read. But I am compelled to write about it, because it is one of life's emotions we all experience some or other time. And none of us escapes it.
I write about it today, because it has me in its grip. And you don't understand its delipidating effect until you are in it. Inge and I, therefore Eden Days Body, has been in it for nearly 2 years now. And Eden Days Body has suffered because of it.
We lost my mom, Inge's grandmother, suddenly in July 2023. No warning. She just left the earth one morning, no time for goodbye. And 13 months later my dad passed away; a slow decline from a broken heart. It was painful to see his sorrow.
So if you see low stock or no stock, slow responses, bear with us. We are still dealing with the emotions and the unavoidable sadmin. It is hard work to wind up an estate and to pack up someone's life.
And for everyone out there that still struggles, don't bury yourself in distractions. Remember the time spent together, the impact they had on your life. It is ok to be sad.
But most of all, remember to make new memories with the ones that love you. They deserve to have your attention. And you owe it to the ones that passed away, to live your life to the fullest. You will be different, life as you thought it would be are now different. But it is still a life that you can make count!
