Our Banging Bangs Shampoo Bar is formulated specifically for hard water areas and builds up a wonderful foam! With Rhassoul Clay and Essential Oils of Palmarosa, Ylang Ylang, Lavender, and Sandalwood, it is the perfect blend for normal to dry hair. It works well on short and long hair as well as colour treated hair.
 
This bar has been certified as both a shampoo bar and a body soap. This bar has been certified as both a shampoo bar and a body soap. Contrary to commercial shampoos, this bar does not act as a detergent that strips your scalp, hair or skin from the natural oils it produces. Instead, the natural ingredients will gently cleanse the hair while conditioning it at the same time. 
 
The Rhassoul Clay reduces dryness in the hair while removing toxins and product build-up at the same time. It cleanses the hair, leaving it soft and moisturised. It is also good at helping to detangle while reducing flakiness. 
 
These bars are extra hard and foam very easily. It is most likely that your hair will not have to go through the normal detox stage. The foam from the coconut base is so good, that there should not be any soap suds deposits left on your hair shafts. 
 
There might however be an initial stage where your scalp overproduces oil as it adjusts to the bar. This should soon balance out and leave you will clean, shiny and fresh smelling hair.
 
A GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO CONDITIONER:
After shampoo, it is important to restore the natural pH on your scalp and hair if you live in a hard water area or have damaged hair.   You need to reduce the pH of your rinse water to avoid product build-up and close the cuticles of your hair.   It is SUCH an important step of your hair routine and is often the reason so many people fail to adapt to a shampoo bar.
 
To add smoothness, shine, and lustre to your hair, add a bit of Apple Cider Vinegar to your rinse water or look at our pHabsolute Clarity Hair Rinse that has organic rice protein to strengthen hair and natural silicone to help with the shine and protection.  It acts as a natural conditioner.
